The Olive Oil Factory was founded in 2003 with a simple mission: deliver great olive oil to professional kitchens across Northern California. From those food service roots, OOF grew — through private label, co-packing, and retail — into one of California’s most trusted shelf-stable co-manufacturers.
Today OOF produces for 100+ brands across the country. Family-owned and independent from publicly traded conglomerates — the same people who started the company still run it today.
2003
Founded – Food Service
Incorporated as a family-owned LLC. Serving food service accounts and bulk drum clients across Northern California.
2008
First Bottle Line
Purchased our first bottling line — the pivotal moment that launched retail, private label, and co-packing all at once.
2010
Category Expansion
Expanded beyond olive oil into vinegars, hot sauces, dressings, cooking sauces, and shelf-stable condiments.
2016
Hot Fill & Cooking Sauces
Added hot fill capabilities — opening up cooking sauces, pasta sauces, and dressings requiring thermal processing.
2020
High Speed Line & Inline Thermal Processing
Invested in high speed filling and inline thermal processing for large volume production runs.
